03Millie & Black Mountain Financial

Get Millie home lending is a pilot program offered in partnership with Black Mountain Financial Pty Ltd (ACL 570391).

Millie Finance Pty Ltd (ABN 71 679 493 808) operates the Millie brand and tools and refers you to Black Mountain Financial. Millie does not itself provide credit assistance or arrange your loan. The home lending service is provided by Black Mountain Financial under a separate agreement between you and Black Mountain Financial. Millie may receive a referral commission for connecting you with Black Mountain Financial, and any commissions received are shared under the pilot arrangement.

You are under no obligation to proceed with Black Mountain Financial, and you may seek credit assistance from any provider you choose.

04Our services & the lenders we work with

Black Mountain Financial can help you to identify, compare and apply for home loans and related credit products from a panel of lenders. Where we provide credit assistance, we will only recommend a loan that is not unsuitable for you, based on a reasonable assessment of your requirements, objectives and financial situation.

The top 6 lenders Black Mountain Financial did the most business with over the last 12 months (by volume of applications lodged) are:

  • Suncorp Bank
  • National Australia Bank
  • Westpac Group
  • Bankwest
  • Newcastle Permanent
  • RedZed

There are other lenders and lessors on the panel that are not on this list — please speak to your broker to discuss the full range. We do not work with every lender or every product in the market.

06 Fees you may pay

Generally, no fees or charges are payable by you to Black Mountain Financial for its credit assistance. In some instances, a fee for service may apply — if so, the details will be disclosed to you in writing in a Credit Quote before you become liable to pay it, and you will be asked to agree to it.

Lenders and other parties may charge their own fees (for example application, valuation, or government fees). These are set by the relevant party and will be disclosed to you as part of your loan documentation.

07 Responsible lending

Before we provide credit assistance, we are required to make a Preliminary Assessment of whether a loan is not unsuitable for you. To do this we will ask you about your requirements and objectives, your financial situation, and we will take reasonable steps to verify that information.

You may request a copy of our Preliminary Assessment at any time up to 7 years after we provide you with credit assistance. We will provide it to you free of charge. If you request it before credit assistance is provided, we will give it to you before entering the credit contract.

08 If something goes wrong

If you have a concern or complaint, please tell us first — most issues can be resolved quickly.

Step 2 — External dispute resolution
